Justice and Peace Ministry

Catholic Charities is committed to working with churches and community groups to

support their ministries to the poor and vulnerable

encourage community engagement

and educate parishioners and the public about the rich tradition of Catholic social teaching.

We do this by convening church social ministers on a regular basis, communicating events and information to church leadership, and providing training and educational programs on public policy matters, Catholic social teaching, and Parish Social Ministry.

Within the service area of Catholic Charities of Wayne County, Ruth Putnam Marchetti acts as the Justice and Peace Coordinator.
